Our collaboration with Instrument's talented team on this Trello animation was an exciting challenge that pushed us to new heights. While their in-house team took care of the storyboarding, sound, and character design/animation, we were tasked with handling the rest: modeling, textures, lighting, animation, and compositing.
We faced a unique set of technical challenges during this project, including multiple remote artists working from separate servers on the same scene. Despite encountering significant software limitations that temporarily halted our pipeline, we never lost sight of our north star.
We used this experience as an opportunity to evolve and innovate. By making several small, yet impactful, changes to our infrastructure and pipeline, we became more modular and flexible. Our quick pivot to revise our workflow ensured that we were able to deliver the final product on time and while exceeding expectations.
